Each year the
Comissão Vitivinícola da Região dos Vinhos Verdes (Wine Commission of the Vinho Verde Region) organizes the gala
"Os Melhores Verdes" (The Best Greens) in order to reward and distinguish the Portuguese Vinho Verde.
The gala took place at Palacio da Bolsa on April 24, with great accession from producers of the green wines. This event represents and demonstrates the pride in the green wines and in the achievements that has been made in the internacional markets and exports.
This year the contest was over 250 samples, with 30 references of the Vinho Verde region, distributed among the categories "Best Of", "Gold", "Silver" and "Honor", chosen by an international jury of experts from major export markets, journalists and winemakers.
In this event, the wines of Quinta de Curvos collected Gold, Silver and Honor in a total of five awards, namely:
Gold for Curvos - Superior 2014
Silver for Quinta de Curvos - Loureiro 2014
Honor for Curvos - Avesso 2014, Curvos - Alvarinho 2014 e Afectus - Alvarinho 2014
